A Pickle for the Knowing Ones is an improvisatory ten part suite dedicated to the literary exploits of 18th century eccentric entrepreneur Lord Timothy Dexter of Newburyport, MA. Dexter's history and literature provided inspiration for the composition and performance of this music, and I encourage anyone with a taste for the bizarre to explore a bit of Dexter's story.

Substantial Special Thanks to:
Emily, Tyler, Josiah, and Patrick for tolerating, even embracing, my madness, and for spontaneously conjuring a killer performance under adverse and unusual conditions.
Angelo Peters for devoting an inordinate amount of time to this project, facilitating equipment and a place to record last minute, capturing the performance on tape and computer, facilitating a drum kit, facilitating performances in Ithaca, facilitating housing for the band, and also tolerating my madness. Thanks, man.
Dana Billings for mastering the tracks and for being a swell guy overall.
Trevor MacDonald for generously allowing us to spend time in his unique space in Enfield, and for selflessly coming out to fix the heater when things started looking grim.
Ben Schwendener for his tutelage in the Lydian Chromatic Concept, his guidance during the process of composing this suite, and for tolerating, even encouraging, my madness.
My father for hipping me to Dexter's history and incoherent ramblings.
Lastly, a big thanks to all of the Knowing Ones in New York and New England who have come out to support the Underground Society Band and my other musical exploits. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
